Since I'll hopefully have some time on Wednesday and Monday, does anyone have any recommendations for game/comics (after picking up my badge on Wednesday, I'd like to pick up that week's new comics if I can)/anime/sci-fi/miscellaneous geek-related shops in Indianapolis, especially downtown?

There's a comic shop right off monument square (on the eastern side street leading in, south side of the street)

  1. Downtown Comics (11 E Market St, Indianapolis, IN 46204) - Monument Circle.
  2. Good Games Indy (111 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46225) - just around the corner from MC.
  3. Circle Center Mall also has stores like Hot Topic and GameStop if that's more your fancy.
  4. Indy Reads Books (911 Massachusetts Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202).
  5. Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library (340 N Senate Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46204). *I THINK THEY ACTUALLY JUST MOVED LOCATIONS SO TAKE THAT ADDRESS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.
  6. Mass Ave Toys (409 Massachusetts Ave, Indianapolis, In 46204).
  7. Global Gifts (446 Massachusetts Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46204).

Google Maps is your friend. :)

For the Geek appeal, Rocket Fizz, http://rocketfizz.com/locations/rocket-fizz-indianapolis-in/
If you can make it out to the northwest side of Indy, Family Time Games, https://www.facebook.com/FTGINDY/

...and it's definitely within walking-distance of Downtown Comics. Wow, I feel silly for leaving them out.

They have a rewards program too, and events going on all week long...

...assuming we're both referring to Good Games? :)
