This is an event for fans of the classic game. Bring your favorite classic cards from the first 3 sets and battle to be the very best!
Long Description:
The legal sets are Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Wizards Black Star Promos 1-14, and reprints of those cards with identical rules text (example: a Charizard from Celebrations Classic Collection would be legal, but a Charizard from XY Evolutions would not). Note rule differences. Proxies are not allowed. We will be checking decks to ensure legality at the start of the event. Please arrive on time for a deck check or email the event organizers a photo of the cards in your deck prior to the event. The event will be played using the original rulebook from Base Set. Event organizers would be happy to help with any simple rules questions. Rounds will be 50 minutes and best of one. Base-Fossil games can often take a long time! There will be door prizes as well as prizes for undefeated players.
