Probably at least 2-3 years out but can't be upset with more downtown rooms.

On top of that, there's another five smaller downtown hotels in construction or approved that will have a total of 900+ rooms.  Not connected to the ICC is my understanding, but still more walking distance hotels will be a big help.  https://www.ibj.com/articles/66905-city-eyes-another-big-hotel-downtown

Hopefully walking distance means 6ish blocks. 
Not LaQuinta which is also considered 'walking distance'.

Way things are now, you're ether talking West or South of the CC. Or possibly North taking over the parking lot North of the State House.
