Gen Con isn't all about gaming, it's also about giving! Gamers giving back to the community is a key part of every "The Best Four Days in Gaming!"
Each year, Gen Con chooses a charity partner. During the convention, several events are hosted in which the proceeds are donated to the charity. Gen Con 2016 raised more than $40,000 for its charity partner The Pourhouse! Over the past 11 years, Gen Con has raised over $230,000 for charity.
Gen Con will announce the official charity for Gen Con 50 in the coming months.
