Create your Account

A Gen Con account is your passport to all that awaits you at Gen Con. Inside your account is where you will purchase your badge, browse the event catalog, build your Wish List, purchase event tickets, and so much more! Creating your account only takes a few minutes and is the first step on your path to Gen Con.

TIP: Gen Con highly recommends that you avoid setting up multiple accounts as this can become problematic.

You can create your Gen Con account in just a few minutes.

  1. Visit www.gencon.com/login (opens in new window).
  2. Select the “Don't have an account yet? Create one now!” link.
  3. Complete the requested fields in the “Sign Up” box.
  4. Click the “Sign Up” button.
  5. Check your email and follow the instructions to activate the account.

Reset your Password

If you have forgotten your password and have access to the email account associated with your Gen Con account you can easily reset your password.

TIP: If you no longer have access to the email account associated with your Gen Con account, please contact Customer Service for assistance.

You can reset your password in just a few easy steps.

  1. Visit www.gencon.com/login (opens in new window).
  2. Select the “Forgot your password?” link.
  3. Enter the Email Address associated with your account in the requested field.
  4. Click the “Submit” button.
  5. Check your email and follow the instructions to reset your password.

Update your Information

If you need to update your account information please follow these easy steps.

TIP: You can easily Opt In/Out of our email mailing lists on your "My Profile" page.

  1. Visit www.gencon.com/login (opens in new window).
  2. Enter your Username or Email Address and Password.
  3. Click the “Sign In” button..
  4. Hover your mouse over your name at the top right of the page.
  5. Select the “My Profile” link.
  6. Select the “Change” button next to the information you would like to update.

Add Friends and Family to your Account

If you have friends or family members who you would like to associate your Gen Con account with, you can add them as a "Friend" within your account. This is a great option if you would like to be able to purchase badges and event tickets for your friends and family members.

TIP: Your friend or family member will need to have a Gen Con account in our system before you can add them as a friend.

Please follow these steps to easily add a friend to your Gen Con account:

  1. Visit www.gencon.com/login (opens in new window).
  2. Enter your Username or Email Address and Password.
  3. Click the “Sign In” button.
  4. Hover your mouse over your name at the top right of the page.
  5. Select the “My Friends & Family” link.
  6. Select the “Add Friend” link next to the information you would like to update.
  7. Enter the email address that is associated with your friends Gen Con account in the requested fields.
  8. Select the "Add Friend" button.

Children and those without an email address will automatically be added as a friend when using the "someone else" feature of the badge purchase process.

TIP: Any items you purchase for friends or family members will be subject to your currently selected delivery method. Will Call orders are listed under the recipients names.
