Long Description:
The cats in the city of Keshanar have all gone missing. This is deeply disturbing to the Keshite citizens as they revere cats due to their ability to see into other planes of existence and according to come, also the future. In fact, to intentionally kill a cat in Keshanar is a capital offense.
The Kesite citizenry believe that the city is in danger and the cats have fled to avoid the impending disaster. Some people have fled, merchants are closing their doors and crime and looting are at an all time high which is keeping the Horus Guard working double shifts in a fragile effort to maintain the peace. Crowds are gathering outside the Temple of Bast looking for answers. The clerics, not wanting a riot in their midst, barred the doors. Thundering Hooves at Dawn, a Mafdet Centaurian Guard, the personal security force of the Pharaoh, has approached your party to investigate.
