Long Description:
Fifty years ago, magic was torn from the world in a single moment—leaving spells to rot on the tongues of witches and power to fade into myth. Then, ten years ago, it came back wrong. Magic returned without mercy or pattern. Humans woke to fire in their veins, lifelong magic users were left hollow, their gifts stripped away. Witch hunters rose again, wearing old symbols with new authority, hunting the newly gifted in the name of “balance.” Those who lost everything - turned feral and desperate, killing humans to steal the magic they believe was stolen from them first. Now power is a crime and no one knows whether magic is a blessing, a punishment, or a test the world is failing. The most powerful leaders of each faction have called a summit to see what can be done to reset the balance in our world. Costumes welcome but not required.
