Nerdlesque icon and delulu queen Maki Roll traces the first roots of this undefined artform - from gogo clubs of the 70s to your typical Comic Con after party. Plus, elevate your pop culture performance art and undress your favorite nerdy characters (and concepts) through exploration of foundational burlesque movement and character work. You might learn. You will laugh. You will move.
This workshop is perfect for all body types, gender identities and skill levels. Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably as we will be moving, and bring something for notes. Everyone will also receieve a free goblin gift courtesy of Maki!
