Lost for years in a box in a basement, a vague memory led to a dedicated hunt to find this treasure from 1976! This 4 hour event features one of our taller DMs and has the party questing for an item.
Long Description:
Looking to play something more retro than 1st Edition AD&D? Relive the days of original (not Advanced) D&D with a run-through of an Official GenCon IX Tournament Dungeon (August 1976) tweaked to allow 8 players to participate. Veteran DM Jesse Anderson hosts this longer old school adventure. Prior experience with older versions of D&D is recommended.
Premise: Your party has offended a great and powerful (and slightly confused) wizard, and he has asked you to retrieve a wand -or was it a staff- that was borrowed (or maybe stolen) from him long ago.
This is a limited engagement with two separate games scheduled; one on Friday and one on Saturday.
Join us as we play the game that started it all and remember the man who created an industry.
