Long Description:
You are an invasive symbiotic species spreading across a living ecosystem, binding to animals to create fearsome Cryptids, corrupting the land, and displacing rival species through calculated conflict. You win by infesting the land with Lairs to reshape the world in your image - or by eliminating every natural predator.
Each turn players take one action - produce, move, build, or attack - then place units on the board. No additional phases, no additional upkeep. Each unit has its own range and combat ability. This combines with a simple rock-paper-scissors combat system that resolves using only the units on the board, no cards, no dice.
This game is all the things I love about real-time strategy games, in a streamlined, combat-focused package. It uses minimal components, plays in under an hour, and is built around direct player interaction.
