Long Description:
First, battle the spreading inferno as rival property owners, then rebuild the city through strategic development and economic planning. “Burn and Build London” is a two-part event that pairs The Great Fire of London 1666 and London into one cohesive experience. In the first game, players take on the role of wealthy landowners trying to protect their holdings while directing efforts to fight—or even redirect—the devastating fire sweeping through the city, balancing survival with opportunism . In the second, players shift to rebuilding London, using card-driven strategy to develop boroughs, construct influential buildings, and manage the economic challenges of recovery, including the ever-present burden of poverty. Those that sign up for this game will be invited into the London game that starts at 1pm and should be at the same table.
