INDIANAPOLIS (January 17, 2025) — Gen Con, North America's largest and longest-running tabletop gaming convention, announced badge registration information today for its upcoming 2025 convention. Gen Con Indy 2025 will run July 31- August 3 in the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and surrounding downtown hotels.
Badges for Gen Con Indy 2025 will be available for purchase on Sunday, February 9, at noon Eastern on gencon.com. The convention will continue to feature thousands of ticketed in-person events, a sold-out Exhibit Hall, an outdoor Block Party with the Sun King Beer Garden, numerous food trucks, and live entertainment.
Gen Con Indy 2025 4-day and single-day badges will be available for purchase beginning at noon Eastern on February 9.
Housing registration will begin at noon Eastern on February 23, and event registration for ticketed events will open at noon Eastern on May 18.
Gen Con is pleased to share that after an incredible 28 years of dedicated service, Peter Adkison will retire as chairperson of the Gen Con board. Peter's leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping Gen Con into the thriving community it is today, and his contributions will be remembered as pivotal influences on The Best Four Days in Gaming™.
Peter retains co-ownership of Gen Con and will continue supporting the convention as a board member.
Brian Lewis will step into the role of chairperson. He joined the Gen Con board in 2011 and brings experience and passion to the gaming community. Brian is a managing partner at Azora Law, representing clients in gaming and technology while serving as a strategic advisor guiding some of the gaming industry's most significant transformations.

To ensure a smooth transition, Peter will continue to support and mentor Brian during this change, providing invaluable guidance as Gen Con embarks on a new chapter.
