New to this thing, but after you reserve a room. Are you allowed to go ahead and pay off the stay before July? Or do you have to wait?

Housing block reservations are transferred to hotels starting on July 15, at which time a non-refundable deposit will be charged equal to one night room charge + tax. This can take several days. The balance is due upon your stay; but, after the hotel has the reservation, you may be able to call them and pre-pay.
