Q about sharing Points Award room

I got a hotel award I'm using for GenCon, but it turns out my spouse will not be joining me this year.

Anyone have any advice about forgoing the pleasure of a room to myself and potentially sharing the room (two beds)?  I am thinking $50/$75 maybe but not sure on that until I hear the horror stories. :)  Might be easier to just enjoy the luxury...and the 4 block walk to the convention.

I'd just take the in-block price of the room and divide it in half. That's what it would cost if someone reserved it though the system.
If you then wanted to give a break to someone seeking a room, knock some off that, but that at least gives you somewhere to start. 
I'm sure you can find a  single roomie on the forums.
