Weapon policy question

Wasn't sure where to ask this, but I'm doing a Belmont cosplay, and as such would like to know if a whip would be permitted under your weapon policy.

Email [email protected] and ask, per the weapon policy.

.......

My guess is, as it does not SPECIFICALLY say anything about whips, as long as it is clearly peacebonded in some way so you can't use the thing (tied into a loop with red yarn so it hangs on your shoulder for example), it should be fine.

But best to check with them to be sure. They might need photos or something.

(Although that bit about "costumes that may be construed as a 21st century military uniform" makes me glad I'm NOT bringing my Honor Harrington RMN uniform cosplay. Awk-ward. *g*)

That is not an exclusive list.  An actual whip is a weapon, and weapons are not allowed. We don't peacebond weapons, we just don't allow them.  A fake whip would probably be ok.

I emailed the above address and was told whips are okay as long as I don't use it.

A couple zip ties around it may not be a bad idea.
