Help finding the location of events

This year for the 1st time I am going to Trade Day.  One of my events is in JW 311.  Where is JW?  Is this the Marriott as in J.W. Marriott?  It would be helpful if we defined our acronyms.  There is a Hall J in the Indiana Convention Center (ICC), but I have no clue where JW is.  Help!  I know this info is somewhere on the Gen Con web site, but I have been unable to find it.

If you go to the Convention Map (https://www.gencon.com/map?lt=1.1423680315518325&lg=63.25927734375001&z=3&f=1&c=13), you can do a search for a room number and it will show you where it is.

For example, when you type in JW 311, it brings up this:  https://www.gencon.com/map?lt=-53.857710645243095&lg=121.64062500000001&z=4&f=3&c=13&s=1249

It's the J.W. Marriott, room 311.

No problem whatsoever :)

You can get to the Convention Map by going to the Experience menu at the top of this screen, then choosing Convention Map from the pop-up menu.

Is there a reason the map is oriented with South at the top of the screen and North at the bottom? It is unnecessarily confusing.

Yeah, we deal with that every year.  It's more of a floor plan map, which typically has the main entrance to a venue at the top.

Also, this is kind of a necro thread, as it's archived from 2 years ago. :-)
