Am I the only one who, upon seeing the GenCon 50 banner at the top of the page, saw an Arrakis sandworm from "Dune?" Even if only for a brief second?
Something about the sand-like background and the way the object was drawn just brings that image to mind for me.
That was my response too. Followed by why would gencon 50 have anything to do with Dune.
Initially, yes i got that feel. BUT it looks more now, like a gold dragon curled up in his pile o gold.
Honestly, I thought it was the bag that all the gold pieces had spilled out of.
After looking carefully, though, I can see the dragon.

I saw a dice bag and didn't think anything of it, since a dice bag is perfectly logical for the world's premier role-playing convention.
I see a dice bag too. Which...actually...might be on purpose. It is one of those 'what do you see' pictures like the two faces or a vase or the young woman old woman thing.
