Shipping Charges Question

I switched my preferred shipping from Will Call to Mail early this month & Gen Con charged me $10. But now when I am trying to buy my badge they are still trying to charge me another $10 shipping charge. Anyone have an ideal what is up with that? Also I can't find the page when I made that change anymore. Feeling a bit ripped off at the moment.

Any help from a Gen Con representative would be greatly appreciated.

Additional question. Will I need to "buy" a "child wristband" for a 2 month old my wife & I will be carrying around?

No, they don't charge when you change a setting. They charge you when you order a badge that will be shipped. Go back and double-check, and I'm sure you'll find you weren't charged $10 earlier this month.

According to Gen Con policies, yes, but there is no cost.

Thank you for responding, however..

I just copy/pasted my transactions page with a few security edits of course:

Weird. Shows what I know. You should email [email protected] if you're double-charged.

Thank you austicke & Mike Boozer for your help. I appreciate it.

I am very confused about the child bracelet. Do I have to create a profile for my child? I entered my phone number, then it is trying to have me select from my friends list. I select myself thinking, I am the father so he will be with me, but it cannot be associated with another badge.

Any help on this is appreciated as well.

We now have a way for parents to purchase badges or Wrist Bands for children with no email address. A parent or guardian will first need an account in our registration system. Once your account is active, go to the “Get a Badge” link in the left menu. Click “Select” next to the badge you want to purchase, and your name will appear below that badge type, along with anyone on your Friends List. If your child does not have an account because they have no email address, click “Someone else”, then click “Don’t Know”. Enter the child’s first and last name and click “Find”. Their name will be added to your list and a “dummy account” created for them in our registration system. You now have the ability to purchase a badge and event tickets for them.
 
REMINDER: This is for children who do not have an email address and do not require access to their account. The parent account will be the only way to purchase items for this child. If the child obtains an email address and wants access to their account, please contact [email protected], and we will help set them up with a proper Gen Con Account.

Thanks Mike. It will be for my newborn who we haven't picked out a name. Can i buy my badge now & get the wristband later? Can I put "Baby Rager" ?? Sorry for the weird questions.
