Last time I went to Gencon, in 2004, some dice manufacturer had a thing where you could pay a certain price and get either a cup, a bowl, or a pitcher, then get one scoop out of a big bin. Do they still have that? What were the prices?
Bulk dice sales?

They still have it, think Crystal Castle but could be Chessex. Don't remember the price.

Is both.

The different companies have different prices per scoop, if I recall, but both have bulk dice.

I remember Chessex doing that; they had a cup and a pitcher. They also had prices for a random scoop and a hand-picked one. As others have mentioned, perhaps other vendors also have similar offers.

Chessex picked pitcher full was $50 plus tax in 2015 (I bought one, plus a random pitcher)
I was unaware Crystal Caste had bulk dice, I will have to check that out this year.
I work at a game shop, and the Chessex bulk buy restocks our loose dice bins very nicely and inexpensively...
