If we want to make sure that we all get into a game together, should we all try to buy tickets for one another in our wishlists? Or should just one person try to buy? Don’t want to accidentally buy multiple sets of the same ticket. Just trying to get best odds of getting the tickets.
If you buy tickets for friends, do you pay for them or will they be added to your friend’s basket to buy?
It's advantageous to have identical Wish Lists with your Friends, where you are all submitting those Wish Lists at the same time. This increases your odds of getting someone in the line earlier and getting an event that might be popular. Make sure everyone is buying those tickets in their Friend's name, though, as this prevents the Friends who are later in the Wish List line from getting the same ticket for the same event. You will never have multiple sets if you do this correctly.
I assumed that you were talking about getting into multiple events with the same people. If you are just talking about one or two events this still applies. Everyone should put that event into their wish list and make sure that it is a priority over other events during that timeframe so you don't lose a few people to conflicting events that they prioritized over the event you wanted to do together.
You will have to buy the tickets for your Friends since it stays in your cart and can't be transferred.
If you want to be sure to all get into the same event, check the box "Only get selected tickets if ALL selected are available."
The first friend whose wishlist processes will get the tickets for everybody. That will block off the time from your schedules, so you cannot get another ticket to an event at the same time. This should prevent you from ending up with two tickets to the same event.
If you do somehow end up with duplicates, drop them from your cart before checking out.
All the tickets successfully obtained from your wishlist go into your cart; you pay for them.
Something to be aware of when buying for friends: If you choose shipping, all the tickets will go to the purchaser, but Will Call separates the tickets by whose name is on them, so each friend will have to pick up their own ticket.
