Will there be an online game auction and store this year?

I think previous requests for something along these lines (like taking proxy bids on the Internet) was met with a lot of "we are not going to compete with EBay" comments, so I imagine the same is true here.  But I am just a volunteer, not anyone with any input into the matter.
