I guess the question should be: how often does downtown hit capacity with events?  Gencon certainly does it and I'd love to see more rooms in the block, but if we're the only ones who do it on a regular basis I can understand the other hotels' concerns.  But presumably Hilton wouldn't be investing in the space if they thought they'd be cannibalizing their other hotels in the area.
