Looking to find out how you go about getting a refund on event tickets. 

It says you can get a refund until august 7th, less a 5% charge. 

Would it be as a credit on my account, or would be I get the money back?

Now that pre-registration has ended, you'll need to return the ticket at Gen Con.

Do you know if there is ways to transfer tickets? Say someone wanted to buy them off me? 

Or you can just give them your ticket to use.

But the ticket would have my name on it. Doesn't it Ned to match the badge?

The name on the ticket only matters if you're trying to return the ticket to Customer Service.  Anyone holding your ticket can use it to get into an event, but they'll only issue a refund to the name printed on the ticket.

Yes - just do this.  The "+1 ticket for me" option is like this, in that the name on the ticket does not match the user's name.  It's all good.  :)
