Mike,
I do overall feel Gencon does a fantastic job and I know it's too late to change anything this year.  My only and minor complaint is that there doesn't seem to be enough events.  Have you ever thought about creating incentives so more vendors run events?  Heck I'd honestly pay more money if I needed to.

The event catalog hasn't been released yet.  It comes out May 1st.  And there will more events added until very close to the start of the con. Last year was pretty thin, but prior to 2020 there would be 15,000-18,000 events each con.

Or what tdb said... ;)

Pretty much all the vendors I wanted are returning this year with the exception of CMON.  What’s up with CMON not coming to Gencon?  Does this mean they’re not coming to any of the cons this summer?
I tweeted them, and they will be running events, and will be there through other booths that they partner with. but, the will not have their own booth

First timer here, so excuse me if this is obvious to anyone that regularly attends.
My understanding is that Wizards of the Coast has taken a pass on Gen Con for the past number of years. Based on the initial list, it looks like that will be holding true again this year, but are there 3rd party vendors that bring in Magic and WotC D&D products?

We've, Baldman Games, have been running the D&D at Gen Con since back in 2004. We will 100% be at Gen Con this summer running hundreds of events as always. Our events are not in the initial catalog release (which is not unusual) due to not being able to load some events until after some things were announced (D&D Direct - Thursday before last). They will be showing up soon as Gen Con approves them and updates the catalog.

We will also have a booth selling D&D products and a demo area as well. Pastimes has run all the MTG for a decade or two as well and will be hosting all the official MTG at the show and will also have a large retail presence with all the good stuff.

Wotc hasn't had an official booth in years but that hasn't changed the two of us from running thousands of events for over a hundred thousand D&D players over the past 20 years.

Is this booth going to be in the exhibit hall or somewhere else?

Exhibit hall is the goal. Please do not expect a giant Wotc spectacular booth LOL. I don't got that kinda bling. It will be 10x10, hopefully near the D&D Demo area, with all your basic D&D needs and dice. It's our first booth - be gentle on us.

You can also go to the menu at the top of the page, move your mouse over "Exhibitors," and click on "Exhibit Hall Map"

It doesn't look like Games Workshop has a presence in the Exhibit Hall this year. Any idea where I could find Age of Sigmar box sets if there's no GW booth?

They are still listed as "Warhammer," as I think was mentioned earlier in this thread (or maybe not)

Oh, yep, I see it now. Weird to have them listed under the game name rather than the company name, but whatever - long as I can get that "Echoes of Doom" box set and the Skaven within, I'm happy.

They've been rebranding a lot of their physical stores to "Warhammer" rather than "Games Workshop" so it seems like a gradual change in brand identity.
