   Does anyone know if there will any kind of Podcaster meetup this year?

Having never been to one - What happens at a podcaster meetup? (assuming that one happens)

I don't know of one, but would definitely be interested in meeting fellow podcasters. I'm one of the co-hosts of Ding & Dent; we're fairly new so I think it'd be cool to meet with others and talk shop so to speak.

I'd also be keen on meeting other podcasters - I've chatted with a few, but always in the context of doing a recording, so I suspect it's not the same as talking shop.

If nothing more official happens, we can always nominate a place & time for anyone who feels like dropping by.

Oh, and the Big Red Couch is the show I'm on - Nearly forgot.

That would work for me, and might be nice to get away from the bustle. 

So, should we try to make this an actual event or just work here to plan it?

I would be very interested in a meetup. :)
