Every year, young nobles from all over Rokugan come together to celebrate their coming of age and participate in the Topaz Championship, where the worthy among them will become true Samurai.
Long Description:
It is a turbulent time in the Emerald Empire of Rokugan, where each of the Great Clans uneasily eyes the others, preparing for treachery or violence to erupt at a moment's notice. In these uncertain days, a group of noble youths selected to represent their clans travel to the village of Tsuma where they will celebrate Gempuku, the ceremony which will see them earn their Dai-Sho and the honor of being true Samurai. Each dreams of winning the Topaz Championship for themselves, and they are all wish to bring honor to their families and the Great Clans to which they belong. But not everyone in Tsuma has honorable motives. Personal vendettas, deadly sabotage, and supernatural visitations surround an unlikely challenger in the competition, and will undermine the whole tournament unless the young heroes stay true to the Bushido Code and act as the Honorable Samurai they seek to become.
