Does Pre-Register sell out in the first day?  This is my first time attending and will be bringing my son who is very excited - I don't want to screw this up.

No rush in getting a badge. The only thing that sells out immediately is VIG, and they are already gone.

If you need a hotel, you just want to make sure you purchase your badge by Feb 10 and be available to book your housing on Feb 12.

Yep.  Badges have never sold out, and as far as I'm aware, isn't a realistic concern at this point in time.  You can buy badges at the door.

The pre-reg price is only good until July 2, though, so keep that in mind.
