Nascrag: 40 Years at Gen Con
Posted by nascragman 6 years agoon 11/12/2018 at 3:23 PM

This will be Nascrag's 40th year at Gen Con.  That's right, we've been putting on RPG tournaments at Gen Con since 1980 - Gen Con #8.  D&D itself was only first published in 1974.  We run Pathfinder these days, but our loose, fun-loving approach isn't terribly concerned with the rules.

If you've ever wondered what Nascrag is all about, this is the year to check us out.  We're cooking up some celebratory goodness for our fortieth.

If you want to see some of the articles that have been written about us over the years, go to http://www.nascrag.org/testimonials/

See you there!

Congrats, you've officially reached middle-age.

Soon you'll be yelling at the "hippies" to get off your damn lawn.

That's "you darn punk kids", thank you very much. Us hippies hang out in parks.

It's an amazing event - I strongly recommend it! D&D with a ton more humor than usual and a great environment to play!

Looks like a cool event. What is going to be the cost this year?

Posted by nascragman 6 years agoon 3/25/2019 at 1:41 PM

Our cost is unchanged, $8 for the tourney.  That guarantees you a spot in round one.  Advancement to the second round is based on scoring in the first round.

There are tons of prizes for the top teams  $2000-$3000 worth of goodies donated by our friends.
