Many conventions do require vaccinations and many do not. It is a waste of time to argue about it and it is off topic.

Post removed.

Do not post anymore conjecture on what Gen Con should or should not do. Or what other conventions have done.

Is one booster good enough or do we need a second one?

You do not need a booster.https://www.gencon.com/gen-con-indy/health-and-safety
Per their own guidelines, "Fully vaccinated" means you've had your primary shots and it's been 14 days. Boosters are encouraged, but not mandatory.
You could've found your answer by just doing a little bit of clicking around.
Sorry. Not used to thinking about COVID recently cause Nebraska just kinda gave up 6 months ago. I saw that we needed to be vaxed and panicked because I didn't know if we should be getting a second booster.

Probably a dumb question, but with all the gamers packed in and the heat, how are people planning on staying hydrated?  I was planning to bring a water bottle and take sips every now and again, but I am betting that could cause problems by lifting my mask to drink, yes?

I doubt many people will have a problem with an occasional sip at the table.

I've reviewed (https://www.gencon.com/gen-con-indy/health-and-safety) and I have a question about wristband pick up.

Do you have to be physically present to pick up the bands? For example, if I show up on Wednesday with a copy of my wife's ID and vaccination card, can I pick up her band?
Same for my kids... they have school and can't attend until Saturday. Can I pick up their wristbands if I have a copy of vaccination card (and maybe something like their student id)?

Thanks!

The individual must be present to pickup their wristband. The wristband will be secured on their wrist. They don’t give out loose wristbands.

A refillable cup or bottle with a straw is a good idea as you can slip the straw up under the mask without removing it. I believe the reusable cups from the concessions stands will have straws again.

Gencon has stated dropping the mask to take a drink is fine.   Just common sense.  If you have a 128 ounce bladder buster that you are taking little micro sips and dropping the mask every 15 seconds yes, someone will probably say something.

No one said anything last year around tables and no one was abusing rules.

Confirmed. Just have common sense. Just because you have a drink in hand is not an excuse to have the mask off but taking it down for a sip is certainly ok.

Are covid tests qualify for covid verification? I know not everyone are vaccinated.

Normally no. You’d need a medical exemption.

I'd like to pick up my verification bracelet Monday.

The website says they are available 8am-8pm at the Capitol Concourse. Where is that?

Looks like the hallway to the stadium.

You will have to wear the bracelet all week.

Sorry if this was already posted. I'm coming from outside the USA. I have a paper with my vax record and a driver's licence from the government where I live. I hope that will be enough?

That’s the main method of providing proof. Vaxx Card and Picture ID with a matching name.
