Seeing that Paizo was releasing Starfinder, I was hoping they would do some promos to promote it. If I recall correctly, the year before 5th edition came out, WotC had a promo where they handed out

Poll: How many of you are continuing to game?

Getting back into Society play with Starfinder on roll 20. My 5e group is using roll 20 too. I’m able to play in Society play because I don’t have to deal with the 1 hour in traffic that makes me late for the game.

Pathfinder

We did an SFS (Starfinder Society) event last year. The only mats we needed were dice, pencils & paper, and there were people that didn't even have those & borrowed. We didn't need the core rulebook. I'm guessing the PFS events (at least the level 1's) might be similar.

Tell me what the 'required materials' are for your session

.? I'm going to email Paizo (it's a Starfinder campaign) but I'm not entirely sure if that's what they mean, or if they expect me to have a character made up. :/ If last year is any indication, what they

100 Days and counting

Today marks 100 days until the start of GenCon. I for one can't wait. I am so looking forward to this. So to mark this occasion what is the one thing you are most looking forward to this year? For me it has to be Starfinder RPG. Now lets hear from you!

First Exhibition Hall stop?

1: CMON 2: Cubicle 7 for The One Ring 3: Green Ronin for any news on Fantasy Age/goodies. 4: Paizo... I haven't played Pathfinder in a few years regularly, but Starfinder sounds interesting. I

I'm having the same issue - so when they say you do not need experience, but to bring materials - do they just mean dice/scratch pad/pencil/etc.? I'm going to email Paizo (it's a Starfinder campaign

*Controversy!* Should "story games" be included in the RPG category?

easily be its own category, as could Pathfinder/Starfinder. Once those are removed the RPG catalog would be a lot smaller. And people looking for RPGs would definitely head over to a D&D or

Official Gen Con specific only Coronavirus thread

of that. Hope they don't do that - that would remove one of the big reasons for me to go (Pathfinder and Starfinder Society organized play).

Is it too late to think about attending?

There's plenty to do! There are lots of free demos (Paizo will even be running demos for Starfinder), plus there's still plenty of tickets for games of all sorts. That, plus generics, movies, seeing

Let's assume Gen Con happens...

I’m going to mainly play Starfinder (I hope they run last year’s special on Thursday night this year) and Pathfinder but am interested in playing Modiphius’s new Fallout RPG if it’s offered. Of
